Blood Assay Software
The goal for this software is to interconnect Lab blood analyzers, and capture data in real time for the analysis of several blood products. My duties are to create an interface that will extract data from the main database, develop an IPC between running processes, and produce a blood Assay document and diskette. This interface is being constructed using Microsoft MFC (C++), Adobe FrameMaker (FDK), and PowerBuilder.
Incident Management Data Collection System (Client Server Project)
Environment: Sybase SQL-Anywhere, Microsoft Access 97, and Visual C++
The IMS system is the main repository for failure data for Instrument Pre-Final Test, and Final Test. The failure data collected for this system is entered from several Warehouses located in Hialeah Fl. Once the data has been entered and processed it is made available to numerous technical support personal.
Production Control Document Database < JIT Control Documents > (Client Server Project)
Environment: Sybase SQL-Anywhere, PowerBuilder, and C++
This system is responsible for controlling the day to day Assembly documents throughout the Instrument Manufacturing Assembly process. These controlled documents include assembly documents, Final Instrument test Documents, and etc. Plus this software is able to create dynamically a Document Tree representing assembly hierarchy. This document was then used for a Device History Record for the FDA.
Animal Control Database (Client Server Project)
Environment: Sybase SQL-Anywhere, PowerBuilder
This database was developed to track Bleeding records from various animals such as Goats, alligators, as well as Avian. These animal farms are located throughout the United States, and the data is centralized.
Corrective Action Database (Client Server Project)
Environment: Sybase SQL-Anywhere, PowerBuilder
The CAT system is the main data repository for inline Assembly failure. The data resolution for failures are can be derived from workmanship errors to actual purchased component failures. Once the data has been processed, it is available to numerous technical support personal. This system is currently being integrated with the IMS failure system.
Software Interface For Printed Circuit Board Auto Insertion Machines (Universal VCD & DIP Inserter)
Environment UICS, Visual C++
The goal for this project was to reduce the 80 hours required to programming a single Assembly on the Robotic Assembly Machines. This was accomplished through use of designing a new machine interface as well as utilizing data located on several platforms i.e. CAD data, MRP Bill of Material data. The time was eventually reduced to approximately 6 hours.
Designed Interface controller for DNC machines.
Environment: Visual Basic, C, DOS
The goal for this project was to design and construct a serial interface to an existing Printed Circuit Board digitizing table. The serial out from this interface was then feed into a Computer where an operator could visually see the digitized image, and allow him to apply changes to any of it's components. The main interface was written in visual basic, and all I/O operations were coded in Microsoft C.
Designed Several Lotus Notes Databases ( R4 )
Corporate Quality Document Retrieval System(Lotus Notes)
Designed Lotus Notes Interface into Microsoft Access
Medical Instrument Aperture Matching & Annealing
Client: Printed Circuit Board Manufacturing (Miami, Fl.)
Environment: Execellon OPIC Reader.
The goal for this project was to bring in-house the Coulter aperture annealing process and design and design a process for matching sensitivity. The first step involved melting glass with a rube aperture under a controlled environment. Designing a computer interface to heat source, and empirically monitoring the melting process accomplished this controlled melt. The second step for matching was accomplished by modifying an existing analyzer (S+), and channelizing the data through an external interface, which collected the serial output data for aperture matching.
