Highlights

I have been integrating software and hardware for many years.
My experience ranges from simple parallel port control of relays and monitoring using Pascal, to fully integrated embedded assembly and C coding for a massive dual DSP real time audio processor.
I also have experience in schematic design, hardware PCB layout and total systems integration.
Over the years, I have used 30+ assemblers, BASIC compilers and interpreters, Fortran, COBOL, and Lisp to mention only a few.
My strength (and preference) is developing low-level code for real time applications, however, I have experience writing compilers, forms converters, and database management too.
I hope I can bring my knowledge and experience to your organization in a synergetic way benefiting both of us.

Work Terms

Payment Method:
My preference for payment (at least at first with an unknown employer) will be to use the Safe Pay Escrow method on Guru.com. Later, we can switch to invoicing using Guru, then still later, if a long term relationship develops, we can switch to a private method of commerce.
Communication:
I think, to help reduce misunderstandings in both job description, and expectations, I would prefer using instant messaging. I can log the conversations then later review those logs should questions arise. Also, I have a few IM clients, and this method of communication can be secure. It is more difficult to keep email secure.
I have no aversions to using the telephone, but, of course, there is no permanent record of the conversations.
General Availability:
I am generally available for communications between the hours of 10am to 6pm M-F (PST) due to housekeeping in the mornings, and family in the evenings, however, I am flexible assuming we have pre-arranged some time slots. I am also aware of deadlines, and am willing to extend my availability as deadlines approach.
