Experience as an architecture instructor, systems administrator, reverse engineer, security consultant, and game programmer has served to keep me fresh and excited about the industry. I enjoy pushing the envelope, succeeding where others fail, and especially doing that which was considered impossible.
I have the uniquely powerful ability to learn. I learn rapidly, accurately, and without the need for formal training. Often I have found myself in a research assistant type role: quickly becoming the expert in a subject so I can bring others up to speed on it.
I write well. While I do not claim to enjoy creating documentation, I do create it. I enjoy creative writing and usually attempt to bring a small bit of life to any documentation I find myself needing to write. Short stories, jokes, or even good advertising slogans tend to give me the most satisfaction.
I thrive on challenge. Whether due to deadlines, technical limitations, complexity, or other circumstances, my interest and enjoyment is proportionate to the problem's difficulty.
