This software had a heavily multi-threaded design and was required to run on multiple Operating Systems including Solaris, Linux, and Microsoft Windows, and on various hardware architectures including X86 and Sparc systems. Additionally, we provided unique deliverables to multiple customers from a single unified source tree without compromising contract integrity (portions specific to customer A were not delivered to customer B, etc) while allowing all customers to gain from a shared technology investment.
