Highlights
|
|
* Developed application in Delphi 2006 to communicate with DICOM servers at the Veterans Administration. Functionality included Modality Worklist queries for broad-based patient search and detailed patient information, conversion of images from TIF to DICOM format, and sending of images to storage server. Developed application to scan TIF images and extract patient information using OCR SDK. Used Leadtools Medical Imaging Suite 14.5 for DICOM and image functionality.
* Maintained and developed a database application in Visual Basic and MySQL which was used to collect information on patients, centers, and MRI’s used in clinical studies and to report results.
* Maintained a Sun server including Solaris 8, a RAID storage system, and an automated tape library under Veritas Netbackup which provided storage and backups for clinical study data.
* Converted and enhanced the MRIAP (Magnetic Resonance Image Analysis Package) program. It was originally written on Sun XView, C/UNIX and converted to MS Windows using Visual C++ 7 / MFC. Features included image display, manual editing, seven segmentation modes, AIR registration, header editing, and file conversion from GE or DICOM to MRIAP proprietary format. Wrote user guide and programmer’s guide for MRIAP.
* Built a system to manage software installed on factory-produced computers designed with a SQL backend and a Delphi treeview client used by all regions of the consumer division in real-time. This system supplied other systems including software image build, defect tracking, and royalties.
* Wrote a Delphi client to view and update software bills of material stored on factory servers.
* Completed and enhanced programs which defined hardware and software components; captured installed files, stored these files in a SQL database; and transmitted the same files in zipped files to the factory for installation on manufactured computers.
