Payment Method
Check, e-check, or wire transfer. PayPal as a last resort.
Communication
Phone and e-mail is fine. We should plan phone conversations that discuss the scope of projects. Feel free to send e-mails as frequent as you like.
If there is an emergency, feel free to call immediately and leave a message if I do not answer. I aim to have a 24/hr turn-over.
Availability
Typical hours are 9-5, but I also work evenings depending on the schedule. I am also willing to work weekends to expediate the process but, that entails a higher contract rate for that time.
Project Scope
Development does not start until the project scope is defined and is set in stone. This means we have documented all the general steps and fees and officially signed-off.
Out of scope request changes during the project will be treated as a new issue and quoted as a separate fee.
For large projects, a standard consultant fee will be charged for the initial scoping and analysis of the project.
Fees
For ongoing projects where there is a continuous stream of work, I will prefer hourly. payments will be required bi-weekly or monthly.
For non-hourly, projects can be paid in milestones. If the project is to encompass a huge time frame, then 50% down will be requested to start and the rest will be paid during defined milestones.
Maintence or improvements after project completion will be negotiated separately.
