The site is written using the Ruby On Rails framework.

The properties area of the website is the main focus for the application. Properties are searched by country, state, city and amenities. AJAX is used to keep the page from reloading when the user submits the form to make for a smoother feel.
There are Press and Events areas of the site to list articles and upcoming events.
The home page has many "widgets" which pull from various dynamic content within the site for "featured" items.

All dynamic areas of the site are managed by a authenticated administrator. We use what we call "inline administration" where there is no "admin" area per se. When the administrator is logged in, links will be displayed to manage the content directly on the pages of the site. If an administrator wants to edit something, simply log in and go to that section of the site and the tools will be provided right there.

Used designer provided images and composites to create HTML templates utilizing CSS for layout and styling.

The site is written using the Ruby On Rails framework.
features
A dynamic drop-down menu is generated from information in the database.
Residences are listed by destination. Each residence features a rotating banner of the photos for that property. This is done via Javascript. The visitor can take over this loop of photos by clicking on links which are provided for each photo. This switches the photo out right no the screen without page reloads. Residences also have attached brochures.
News and Videos areas of the site provide articles and latest Resort Equities PR videos.
There are other basic content management areas of the site such as a Team area which displays members of Resort Equities staff.
