I am experienced with the design of J2EE applications from bottom to top. My experiences with the healthcare field, in particular, afforded me the opportunity to design and implement high-performance applications. Developing these high performance applications entailed the tuning of both java code and SQL queries. Listed below is the summary of my recent working experience:

I designed and implemented an SOA,
component-based J2EE application with EJBs and APIs such as the
Spring Framework to expose reusable health informatics components. These components are used by multiple
turnkey applications that are consumed by multiple health insurance
companies,
It is my responsibility to author documentation that could be consumed by development teams that
wished to use these components and to extend upon them.
To make sure the components were of the
highest quality, I implemented and maintained a continuous
integration (CI) environment which used CruiseControl and
Maven. This CI environment used the JUnit API to test the
code, and the Clover reporting tool to report test code coverage.
1993-1999

Programmer/Analyst
I
implemented a web-based search engine to search for
chemical structures in an Oracle database. I used Java
Servlets to implement both the search engine and the API.
