Selected Engineering Contributions
Developed new Visual Basic Operator Interface and Reporting software for Port-A-Pour portable concrete batch plants.
Enhanced control code for what I called “Dribble with Trickle” to provide improved accuracy for delivery of cementitious materials to within ±10 pounds. The most accurate cement delivery in the industry. This enhancement was implemented at a customer in California in order to gain Cal-Trans approval for their batch plant.
Upgraded financial application written in Visual Basic from using a Microsoft Access 2000 database to using a MS SQL Server 2005 database. Because the application was certified within the deadline after the launch of MS SQL Server 2005, the customer was able to receive free advertising credits as an incentive from Microsoft. This product has now been rolled out to more than 25 locations in Colorado.
