I have been working in the IT industry for almost 10 years. During that time I have worked in many roles, including basic programming all the way up to systems architecture. I have also managed a team of 3 employees.

My web experience has been .NET, as mentioned, with a lot of side projects using PHP (WordPress themes, website creation/customization, etc.)

Work Terms

I prefer to use Email and/or IM as much as possible for communication, although I have no problem with phone conversations if needed.
On hourly projects, I will ask for a retainer of sorts to be deposited into an escrow to ensure that payment exists. For flat rate projects I will ask that the entire amount be deposited into escrow prior to the start of work.
It is my goal that you be satisfied with what you receive, and I will do my best to deliver what is asked for. If, however, there are new requirements added on later, or other forms of scope creep on a flat rate contract, the contract will have to be updated to reflect that, either allowing for delivery of the originally specified project, or a different amount that reflects the new requirements.
I am very easy to work with, and am happy to work with you on specifying requirements if there are areas of ambiguity. I just want to ensure that both sides are clear on what is being requested and what will be delivered so that all expectations are met.
