Highlights
|
I have worked as a developer and software project manager on several web-based applications. These web applications have been for both commercial and government customers. The commercial applications include a number of real-estate web sites which required data transfer from multiple listing services. Some of the other web applications include marketing web sites and various database driven applications. The government applications include a tool that is used to track training and evaluation records as well as perform scheduling for a large workforce. This application is used by hundreds of users on an Air Force base. Several of these web applications were considered ground breaking at the time and won prestigious awards.
I am new to guru.com but I am preparing for a career change to academia. This kind of a career change comes with a drastic drop in salary so I am attempting to offset the salary reduction through short term development projects. I know that my experience will allow me to succeed on the projects that I have the opportunity to work.

I have developed web-based applications in most of the common web development languages. The ones that am most familiar with include C#, VB with ASP.Net, PHP, Perl, ColdFusion, and HTML. I am also skilled with SQL and have designed many small and large-scale databases. |

Payment:
As a new Guru member I preferred to be payed through the Guru provided SafePay Escrow. I prefer payment through check, E-check, or wire transfer.
Communication:
The prefer method of communication is by email by I phone communication is acceptable as well. Based on the type of project, I expect that communication rate of twice a week is reasonable.
Availablility:
I will be doing the majority of the work after normal working hours, but I will be available for communication during normal working hours.
