- Designed, developed, and documented a web application that handles employee requests for the Human Resources Department of a large (1200+ employees) tour and transportation company. Requests include new hires, employee status changes, leaves, and terminations. It was built with ASP, Javascript, HTML, and Oracle 8 db. It also interfaced to Ceridian, the company's payroll service.
- Designed and implemented a telephone voice response system that allowed bus drivers to hear their daily schedules. Developed using VB 6, Visual Voice, and Access. The call handler is an ActiveX component. The design was done as an object model (classes) with Visual Modeler and the development was OOP. This implementation saves the company a lot of man-hours (money).
- Designed and developed a web-based instructional video server application using VB 6's IIS Application project (compiles to an ASP-hosted dll), Real streaming media, and XML.
