As far as web gurus go, I consider myself among the best. For well over 8 years,
I've been programming, hacking, and working professionally with
computers and server systems. If you're a business or individual looking for a web programmer, database designer, or web systems administrator, please consider the following when making your decision.
My knowledge of web technologies is vast, and I have intimate knowledge of each stack of commonly used web platforms, from the server hardware, to networking, to web server software and programming languages. My day-to-day professional experience has been focused on PHP/MySQL LAMP web sites, Python and Bash scripting, and Linux server administration. I also program in Java on the side, and am excited to write new software for the Android platform when it is available on mobile phones.
My past experience with a select few technology firms, as well as diverse work in the freelance community, should prove I'm a seasoned professional with a constant hunger for learning new technology. My work has included agency work, handling hundreds of websites for small businesses, as well as large project-based work for a television news corporation.
I have worked directly with customers for most of the past 8 years, and have excellent customer service skills, as well as good work ethic. When I work on a project, it's completed to your specifications, or I will issue a full refund.

Work Terms

Payment Method:
When working with an employer for the first time, I would require a payment secured through SafePay Escrow, which I believe is a standard for Guru payments. After that, a per-project payment decision may be made, once the employer and I have established a trustworthy relationship. When using SafePay Escrow, I would prefer the use of Check, E-check or Wire Transfer, though PayPal is also acceptable.
Communication:
For large projects spanning multiple weeks, I would request at least one phone meeting per week, and daily email interaction. For smaller projects, I would expect that one or two phone conversations would be enough to establish a good idea of what the project entails. I am available via cell phone and Skype, though Skype is preferable because it is cheaper.
Availability:
I work generally "regular" business hours -- beginning at around 9am CST, and finishing up between 6 and 7pm. I would prefer work-related interaction to fall between these times, M-F, but I am willing to discuss or work on projects after hours if the project requires it.
