I have written successful programs in many different computer languages, and can generally learn a new language very quickly.
I've worked successfully with all kinds of office-grade hardware as well as specialized devices like "scoreboard" displays, electronic scales, data collection terminals, process sensors, barcode/mag stripe readers, etc.
It's likely that your project will be similar to something I've already done successfully.
It's likely that I can do it cheaper, faster and better than someone with less experience, even if I charge more per hour.
If I don't think I can, I'll say so upfront, and you won't owe me anything.
But if I say I can complete your project successfully, you can count on it.
I can bid on any project that is based on the AS400/iSeries or Windows PC's and ANY attachable devices.
I know how to program in Visual Basic, C, FORTRAN, REXX, Progress, RBase, COBOL, RPG and any of several other languages.
I can develop new capabilities using Microsoft Office(Word/Excel/Outlook) or Lotus Notes.
I can create database applications in any SQL-based environment (SQL Server, MySQL, DB/2, and others).
I can create Internet/Web applications in PHP, Perl, ASP.NET, HTML, XML/XSL, and I'm continually expanding my knowledge of other mainstream Web technologies.
In summary, given sufficient resources, I can make a computer do anything that doesn't violate the Laws of Physics.
