Highlights

The majority of my work has been in developing web applications using C# and the Microsoft .Net Framework. I am a firm believer in layering my code so that business logic is kept separate from the user interface and database access logic. This creates a fluid design that is easily tested.
I write code using Test Driven Development, which means that the application’s code is covered by many automated unit tests. You can be assured of the quality of the code I write. You will have the confidence to know that new changes will not break existing functionality, whether it is me who is making those changes, or someone else, after my time is done.
My project planning skills will help you scope out your software project in such a way that estimating and prioritizing will be made simple. The result is that you will see working software sooner; giving you more opportunities to change the direction of the project without paying exorbitant costs.
My approach to software development will foster a partnership between you and I that will not only enable us to deliver high-quality software, but will also deliver software that solves your problems, in the way that you expect.

Work Terms

Payment Terms
I will accept payment through Guru's SafePay Escrow. I prefer payment by check, e-check, or wire transfer funds. I require 10% paid up-front, and another 20% after the scope of the project is settled, and a project plan is in place. The remaining payments will be split evenly among the number of milestones that we come up with in the project plan. Payment is due at time of delivery of each milestone.
Communication
I can be contacted through e-mail, instant messenger, and/or Skype during my normal working hours. Outside of those hours, I prefer not to receive unscheduled Skype calls. E-mails and instant messages during non-working hours will be responded to as quickly as possible.
General Availability
I generally work from 9:00PM to 12:00AM EST on weekdays; and on weekends when required. I do have a full-time job, working from home, so I am somewhat flexible in this matter.
