I have over 11 years worth of experience working on Internet applications. My former employers include GetThere (Sabre), Nationwide and Unitrin Specialty Insurance. While I have built simple brochureware sites, most of my time is spent developing complex business applications.
My largest project to date was managing the complete design overhaul and code rewrite for UnitrinSpecialty.com. Though we tried to reuse existing code, more often than not, we had to rewrite from scratch in order to provide the most optimized user experience possible. The end result was a website whose applications made it even easier for independent Insurance Agents to conduct business with Unitrin Specialty.
In a competitor sponsored survey, Agents rated the new Unitrin Specialty site higher than those of their competitors.

I will only work with employers who agree to payment via Escrow. Payment can be made via physical or electronic check or by wire transfer.
I understand that communication by phone is preferred, especially during the initial stages of the project life cycle. However, I would prefer to communicate via e-mail to record requirements and change requests.
I am available for freelance work after 6pm weekdays and during the day on most weekends.
