I ran CAT5 cabling throughout a two story house to a central location to connect six computers together for a home network.
I have setup a computer lab that consists of 5 PCs, 5 routers, and 2 switches.
The computers consist of three Dell desktops: one with Windows Sever™ 2003, one with Windows XP™, and one with Fedora™ Linux, and two laptops: one older Compaq™ used for a dummy terminal for the routers and one is a Dell™ Inspirion. A Linksys router is setup for internet access. The Cisco™ equipment can be used for a CCNA/CCNP lab: two Cisco™ 2610 routers, two Cisco™ 3640 routers, one Cisco™ Catalyst C2980G-A switch, and one Cisco™ Catalyst 3500 series XL.
