Stock and Bond Management Program
Designed and developed a prototype of a Stock and Bond Management System for presentation to investors utitizing SQL Server as a backend and Access 2000 as the frontend. Also, utilized pivot tables, views and other tools to create a user friendly, intuitive navigation interface for the investment community.
Homebuilder Industry-
Created multi-user Web based application utilizing Access Database that integrates all Sales information such as contacts, lead generation, personal calendar, task, appointments, phone conversation, e-mail, notes, realtor information and department meeting agenda/log identifying hot prospects with action items in Access 2000 utilizing VBA in an Windows 2000 and Windows 2000 server environment. Web enabled that application through terminal services in Windows 2000 server and created a Virtual Private Network (VPN). Created and designed tables and relationships used in the project.
„h Successfully developed a Change Order system that tracks changes, money transactions totals, sign-offs and automatically prints legal addendum¡¦s that automatically inputs appropriate data for sales representatives.
„h Developed a construction Module that track all the stages of construction, generates a complete work schedules for the superintendents which identifies his daily activities. Incorporated Wireless solution to allow mobile access to schedules and duties at construction site.
„h Developed management modules that utilize custom reporting features. Report versatility allows users to created their own report, rearrange data, change sort order, filter date, add fields or change the field order from one easy user interface.
„h Created a construction module that could utilize WAP with any WAP supported wireless device to remotely enter data from a construction field location into the database. Module generated a construction schedule for a selected subdivision from start to completion and took into account of holidays and weekends. Program was designed recalculate schedule depending if the construction was behind or ahead of schedule.
2nd Project -
Enhanced and redesigned voice mail databases to Track, report, update the voice Mail server's data throughout the US.
Performed database conversion, enhancements and development for a multi-user system application. Migrated an Access 2 to an Access 97 application and modified the application¡¦s internal operations from macros to VBA with error trapping and debugging capabilities. Coordinated the release of the software application, which entailed setup, development, and test environments. Performed modification requests promptly and created a stable work environment for the end users. Integrated an automatic import process of voicemail data from the various Central Office (CO) servers and other departments into the
Access database. Added functionality that generates complex reports on the fly that allows users sort by any field, and filter on any combination of fields. Enhanced forms to facilitate critical equipment installation and voice mail deployment decisions.
Enhanced the user interface to increase ease of use and reduced redundancies. Combined two mirror databases residing in two different locations into one central database on the network. Served as a liaison between the departmental groups that shared the database, and offered solutions or scheduled meeting to work through challenges.
3rd Project -
Customized software to increase productivity by development of an Access/VB database for reporting inventory tracking back orders, contact management, trend analysis and Supplier information.
