My goal is to develop a friendly working relationship with my customers and to earn their 5-star feedback. I find that regular communication is a great asset in this, so I encourage regular communication and am available by email, instant messenger, phone, and any other type of communication you would like. I have a reputation for honesty and appreciate the same in my clients.
I prefer to work hourly, but do take flat fee projects as long as the project requirements are well defined. For hourly work I invoice weekly and expect payment under Net 14 terms. For flat fee projects we can negotiate terms, but I generally prefer 40% up front, 40% when delivered to beta and 20% within 30 days of deployment. I guarantee my deliverables for at least 30 days.
