He was Ramanujan Studentship holder of Trinity College, Cambridge. He is a Ph. D. in Mathematics from the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore.In his previous academic avatar, he has trained tens of programmers and engineers on projects in the areas of Artificial Intelligence, Pattern recognition, Image processing, Cryptography and Coding theory.
