I am an experienced Java and .NET developer with over 3 years of experience working in a multinational software company. I got attracted and switched to ruby-on-rails a year and a half back and have been having a lot of fun working on some interesting projects.
I have a very good understanding of object oriented programming and design patterns, and follow very good rails programming techniques, thanks to the book Rails AntiPatterns. I use ruby-metaprogramming techniques where necessary to keep the code concise, I just love the language ruby.
I am a test-driven developer, and usually try to write test cases before I write my code. I have excellent communication skills and I'm very dedicated to what I do, and the fact that ruby-on-rails is so much fun to work with my really helps my cause. So if you are looking for an agile developer to get your project done, I am here to help.

Work Terms

I am a graduate student and work in the lab during day, Monday through Friday. However, I am available to talk on the phone during that time. I am free on evenings to mid-night on weekdays, and all of weekends. I am available on phone, skype or IM.
