My work history has included a wide and diverse range of experiences. In my latest role as a freelancer I developed a job tracking system that I am developing using
Adobe Flex and PHP with a MYSQL backend.
Before that I worked for an internet start-up as their Chief
Graphics/Web Designer. In that position I oversaw the design and
production of the corporate Web site (including spin off sites), as
well as all print and marketing materials.
I have a solid background in graphics and Web design/development with
proficiency in the following programs: Photoshop CS3, Freehand MX;
DreamweaverMX; FlashMX; Fireworks MX; Illustrator; MS Office; as well
as languages like Cold Fusion MX, PHP, ASP, HTML and JavaScript, AJAX,
FLEX, LASZLO.
I have applied my knowledge of these programs in newsletters, brochures, software interfaces and Web site design.
I have extensive database knowledge in SQL, MYSQL and Access.
I am technically adept and able to learn new software quickly. I also have extensive experience working with outside vendors.
In addition to my skills as a web designer/developer, I have experience in writing copy as well as project management.
