Most of my work is for the office rather than the web but these divisions are becoming more and more blurred and the .NET tools for both allow easy skills transfer which means I am now developing web applications as well.
However, at the heart of almost all my work is a database and I always try to use MS SQL Server which is real productivity boost for all bespoke work. It never seems to run out of puff and just keeps delivering what my clients need and what I need to get the job done. |

It seems I have been using the Agile approach for years without realising which is nice as I believe that success only follows through good strong communication and taking an evolutionary approach to a large project. This minimises risk and maximises flexibility.
So, in terms of how to work - in summary as a team.
I work faster and better in my own office but equally realise there are times when you need to be on site.
I have no hard rules on how to work it depends on what we both feel comfortable with but I have to eat so large projects means staged payments!
