1. Wrote operating system for PDP 11 process control application,
2. 1978 - Developed a PDP11/03 gateway between IMS and a multitude of other systems using the IMS defined IRSS protocol.
3. 1982 - Developed an Inter Process Communication Protocol used throughout Kodak.
4. 1984 - Wrote interfaces for LU6.2 VAX to CICS and VAX to IMS (LU6.1) which are used throughout Kodak.
5. 1984 to 1990 - DECnet communications support for Kodak including the DEC SNA Gateway applications using terminal emulation, LU6.2, RJE, and Printer Emulator.
6. 1987-1988 For Eastman Kodak, converted an IMS application written in PL1 to a Pascal application running on a VAX using VMS
7. 1993 to present - Have written modular routines implementing TCP/IP sockets protocol between VAXes, PC’s, and Internet sites.
8. 1995-1996 For Eastman Kodak, led team that converted a PDP 11 assembler language process control/monitoring system to C++ running on a VAX using Open VMS. Team of 8 took 1 year to complete the project. It involved conversion of 100 programs, 170 subroutines, 80 documentation files, new code to handle a new interface to the process machine, and development of utilities to aid in support.
9. 1998 For PolyChrome Graphics, consulted with IBM/Kodak/Polychrome on communication backbone migration from DECnet and DEC’s SNA Gateway to a TCP/IP environment.
10. 1999 For Eastman Kodak, changed a VAX Manufacturing Execution System from interfacing with IMS as the source of production related information to interfacing with a SAP application as the sources for such data. This required a complete change in communication protocols from SDLC/LU6.2 to TCP/IP using DEC Message Q, MQ-Series, and FTP. It also involved a change in the manufacturing database, changes in operator interfaces, and changes in how the manufacturing process was controlled. This involved over 1400 files including over 450 files requiring code conversions.
11. Wrote a Java medical records editor that in Title 21 Part 11 compliant. It runs as an applet.
12. 2002 - Wrote .NET components implementing MQ-Series and sockets. Implemented these components into services.
13. 2003 For Eastman Kodak, converted a VAX Pascal application to an NT platform using .NET.
14. 2005 Wrote a VB.NET Windows Application for authors that performs text analysis and storyboarding.
15. 6/2005 - Present - Code Archeologist for Optimus Corporation - Analyze code and fix bugs in C# and MFC. Extensive esperience with the Adobe PDF library.
