Work Terms

Project Description: A written description of your project will be prepared to insure we understand what you want and how you want it. This is an important part of the project, and must be completed to the satisfaction of all, prior to starting any work.

Cost Estimate: We will prepare a quote of what the project will cost to complete, based on the project description developed.

On-Site Work: This should be a very rare occurrance in this day of high-speed internet and pervasive communications. On that rare occasion, all travel and accommodations will be billable items.

Billable Hours and Expenses: The project will be billed per agreement on an individual project basis. Hourly projects will be billed with a description of efforts associated with hours. Additional items such as supplies, special technologies, software packages, etc., will be billable and will require prior approval by the client. General time spent researching technologies and methods will not be billable.

Invoice and Payment: The Guru Escrow system is utilized exclusively for payment. Projects will be planned in phases and either a fixed price will be quoted for each phase, or an estimate will be provided if it is not possible to develop a fixed price. Prior to beginning each phase of work, the client will deposit the fixed price or estimated amount in the Guru Escrow account. Upon acceptance of work for that phase, the escrow will be released for payment.
