I am seeking telecommuting employment as a quality assurance software developer. I have 20 years experience as a programmer and 8 years experience as a programmer writer, a Master's degree in Computer Science and a bachelors in physics. I have considerable experience developing system software in C and C++, as well as quality assurance software in many different languages, including C, C++, Java, Perl, Visual Basic, Prolog, UNIX shells & other scripting languages.
I can work alone, but I prefer to work together with my son Paul leading teams of contract programmers. My son, Paul, is a certified Java programmer with about a year of experience in Java. With the client’s permission, we can also hire able local (Mexican) engineers, as needed, to support any project. When we use the work of Mexican contractors, we do very thorough code reviews and ensure that all code is properly commented in English. We are fanatically respectful of all NDA requirements, and scrupulously careful with your intellectual property.
We can contract local engineers who are very experienced with PHP, and most other major server-side programming languages, such as JSP, Java servlets, Active Server Pages, etc. Our consultants are also experienced in JavaScript, VBScript and Flash Action Script programming on the client-side.
Our team can work for a very low rate of $15 per hour, and we guarantee satisfaction or your money back.
For a slightly higher rate and adequate per-diem compensation, we can make occasional trips and work on site, as the need arises.
My personal rate (without my team) is $45-$85 / hour, depending on the assignment.
