Highlights

I am currently working as a Software Engineer in the video game industry. I have extensive experience in C/C++ working on the PC and on the Xbox 360, Playstation 3, and the Wii.

I have shipped five titles in the six years I have been in the games industry. This experience has given me many skills, including the ability to schedule and plan within tight deadlines and work across disciplines to get things done.

My strength is definitely software development in C/C++ but I know many other languages and can pick them up very quickly. Before I went into the video game industry, I worked for a year at SBC Communications doing web work with databases. I had to teach myself Coldfusion while I worked there and was developing with the language in less than a week. I have even applied a lot of that knowledge to the video games I have worked on, doing a statistics website for a game using MySQL and PHP.

Work Terms

Right now I am working full time and only looking to do some contract work part time. I work from 10:00 am - 7:00 pm Monday through Friday, so the part time work I'm looking for would be some nights/mornings and the weekends.

I would prefer communication through both email and instant messenger. I can answer urgent messages at work and would much prefer too much communication then too little.
