Development doesn't need to be difficult or stressful. Too often project failures comes from a combination of two things; developers not listening and understanding the needs of the client, and developers committing above their skill level.
I approach projects differently. I listen and contrbute to ensure the goal is the right goal for the client and the project meets or exceeds expectation.
