In short? I am a highly skilled, very experienced and very effective computer programmer that is free to travel and temporarily reloate as needed to work on your project. I have been a client-server, widely distributed systems programmer on Unix and Windows platforms for over 15 years.
First I began in the late 1980s using Berkley sockets to effect interprocess communication in GIS and Transportation industry applications. However, in the last 10 years, I have been programming web based applications almost exclusively. I still maintain and create sockets based programs from time to time. I have been writing WWW/CGI based applications in C, Perl and PHP since 1995, 1996, and 1998 respectively.
Specifically I have mostly worked on Intel/Linux and IBM/AIX using MySQL and Informix and Apache. On Windows platforms I have solid experience in Visual C, Basic and foxpro and have done some work with C#, VB script and ASP.
I have excellent inter-personal skills and communications skills, and am well received and liked by uisers and colleagues alike. I have written 3 books that have been published. I speak and present well and my experience includes a part-time (evenings) adjunct faculty member position at High Point University as a Information Systems professor.
