Work Terms

Work rates and terms are flexible depending upon the project, but I generally follow these rules:

- Communication is conducted primarily by e-mail. Phone calls can be arranged to discuss projects in more detail, and are scheduled after 3:00 p.m. eastern time.

- If I haven't worked with you before I may ask for 50 percent up front and the balance within three business days of the work being submitted.

- I normally agree to two rounds of editing/revisions.

- All invoices and escrow funds must be released within three days of work submission.

- If you plan to pay with a credit card there will be a 4 percent project fee, which is what guru.com charges me.

- I will always work to meet your deadlines, but turnaround varies depending upon the length and complexity of the project. A typical article is generally two business days, depending upon any research or interviews that are needed. Larger projects depend on the work involved.
