In previous positions, I have managed and maintained over 30 quarterly updated print products for a financial information services company (see Sheshunoff.com), including organizing schedules / deadlines, editing, proofreading, and copy editing manuals and white papers, ordering art from the Graphics Department, writing cover letters for publications, and regular communication with Production Departments (printing, etc). I also performed editing tasks for Senior Editors, including copy editing the content and layout of newsletter publications, compliance manuals, and Web-based training products. In addition, I tracked freelance spending by product branding, maintained the department-wide Style Guide and Policies and Procedures Guide, managed off-site archiving of publications, and performed other duties as well.
In my current position, I operate in a quality control capacity, covering every aspect of document production, including editing, proofreading, re-writing material where English is the second language for the author, formatting, creating templates, applying company style and standards, maintaining file system, and corresponding with engineers, city managers, and consultants concerning facts / aesthetic issues. In addition, I am responsible for coordinating and performing large-volume printing and document production, including covers and professional binding.
I have considerable experience managing documents and other materials that must move fast and efficiently while maintaining accuracy and quality. I am highly detail oriented, creative, resourceful, and agreeable to work with. I enjoy the demands of a deadline-driven environment, and I am motivated and enthusiastic when it comes to performing well.
