As a technical writer, I have experience in software design documentation and the Unified Modeling Language (UML). During my time as lead developer at a software firm, I wrote both the design documents and the help files for multiple software projects. As Business Analyst on many of those projects, I have considerable experience in gathering real world requirements and translating those to the development team.
Along the way, I became fairly proficient with Visual Basic, SQL Server and Access. I'm fairly proficient in HTML, Oracle, along with T/SQL. (Check out my tests. I've passed SQL Server and Access.)
During my 6 years experience as a purchasing and warehouse manager for a candy manufacturing concern, I was also responsible for operations analysis, machine scheduling and required maintenance, JIT deliveries and shipping. |
