Gained a maintenance contract with Acore Development & Training to update their website as and when required.
Working with Ed Andrea of Dash Help, writing WordPress tutorials and making graphics for his website, http://wordpress.dashhelp.com. We collaborate on web design projects, some of which are for him, others are for mutual clients.
Subcontracted to Promotise, a Liverpool-based printer, and Executive Business Services, a web services company, building websites from scratch, and adding blogs, galleries, and e-commerce platforms that match the site themes.
My short story, "The Night Walkers," has been featured in this year's Bloody Parchment anthology at http://www.scribd.com/doc/59520067/Bloody-Parchment-Volume-One.
Design and development on http://rememberthebalrog.org, customizing the forum theme to accommodate banners and background images made by the members and adding a story archive for the creative writers to post their stories in.

Work Terms

I work from home and conduct my business online. Typically, I make dummy websites to show clients what their sites will look like online before they go live. If the client is happy with it, they pay me via PayPal, Google Checkout, or if they're UK-based, BACS, then I either ask them for the access codes so I can upload their files to their webhosts, or send them the files zipped, so they can upload them themselves.
When I don't have all the information I want, I may do some research and find the information myself. I am happy to subcontract to other companies and work on a freelance basis.
