This website is one of several front end user interfaces for a business specializing in travel packages for schools and educational purposes. I was contracted out to do very simple work on a part-time basis at about $10.00 an hour. They simply wanted me to integrate a form into companion sites hosted on the same server with different domain names that would pull information from the same database on one site, but appear to each run independent of each other. This gives them the ability to basically compete with themselves. For example, you go to Goole and run a search, you get 20 results, the first three are all Adventure Student Travel, but they might each have a different url, domain name, business name, address, phone number, etc. This way, the end user, looking for the best package, sees AST, another company, another division of AST(with a different name), and then yet another outside company. It doesn't matter if the end user choses AST, or the division of AST that appears to be a different company, AST still gets the money from it. My form integrated into their sister sites, made it less expensive to display the same information, and made it more transferable to increase their overall profits on two economic fronts, by saving money, and diversifying access.

This was a persanol site I did for myself about 12 years ago. I just wanted to play around with what I could do, and have something up that I'd be able to show people or post new information. It has been over a decade since I did ANY maintenance on it, so I apologize for any information that is most definitely no longer accurate, but it gives you an example of where I was at as far as skill level is concerned over a decade ago, and I have continued learning and expanding my skill set.
