I am currently self-employed seeking freelance projects to further my experience and knowledge of web-site design, web applications, software engineering, and programming. I had been working for a Computer Technologies company that specializes in Technology Education, Network Engineering, Software Development, and Career Staffing for the last 3 1/2 years. At CTA I started off as a computer applications trainer teaching such software as:
Microsoft:
Word, Excel, Access, Publisher, and FrontPage
Adobe:
Photoshop, Illustrator, and Premiere
Macromedia:
Dreamweaver and Flash
I have also taught Java Programming, HTML, and web site design. I was working with in our Software Development division testing software and studying online to receive my B.S. in CIS. Due to corporate downsizing many of us found ourselves either in new positions or in the freelance sector. I spent the last 3 months programming reports for a bank in Access'97 utilizing VBA. As I mentioned my search for freelance work is to further the extent of my web-site design skills as well as to build a portfolio of projects that I may use as part of my resume.
