I've been immersed in artwork all of my life. Although I've been making illustrations for over 30 years, my main focus has become Flash animation and navigation menus, or interactive eye candy. My degree in Graphic Design focused on both print and web design.

I have over 5 years experience creating and building websites for institions such as the University of Alabama in Huntsville's College of Nursing and Wallace State Community College. The past 2 years were devoted to contract work for 2 major clients: the FBI/Hazardous Devices School on Redstone Arsenal, and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.

My expertise covers all areas of graphic design: logo design, business packages, brochures and other types of print designs, as well as websites, animations, tutorials, and other multimedia, including video and audio editing.

I've designed Flash files to work within websites, within other applications (such as Scaleform Gfx), and as standalone applications designed to play from CDs.

Successful visual communication relies on knowledge of the client and target audience. My process involves not just knowing what kind of media is requested, but the individual, unique characteristics of my clients and target audience, so that the client's desires and needs merge seamlessly into a final quality product.
My reputation depends on the quality of my work and the satisfaction of the client. If the client isn't satisfied, the project isn't complete.

Once I start a project, I tend to be completely focused on that project. My work process usually starts off with numerous composition designs. I like to offer various options and then have the client "sign-off" on the one chosen. Communication is key at the start of a project. I tend to ask a lot of questions to make sure I am targeting the correct audience and providing the product you've envisioned. I may have additional clarification questions along the way. Prompt replies are greatly appreciated to continue the work flow. I always have my cell phone on and check e-mail at least daily.
