Description:
The Grindstone Park Cottage Owners Association was using a free MSN forum for communication with cottage owners. When MSN decided to shut down the free forums, the GCOA needed to find an alternative. Rather than another free site, they wanted a modern and appealing site that would not only give a place for owners to associate, but a place to attract new cottage owners to the area.
Site was custom designed in Photoshop, then built with PHP and CSS using WordPress as the sites content manager. Site contains custom several page template allowing for advertising, forum, and widgets. Also running OpenX Ad Server to allow for local advertisers to be shown on the site.
Creative Compulsions was also retained to maintain the site as tech support and hosting after site launch.
