M2 Studio, Inc. is a Dallas, TX based Architectural Visualization company. The company's previous website failed in many respects. It was not easily able to update, it did not showcase their work properly, and it was not a good design in the end. The site we designed has great navigation and clustering of what the company needed to showcase as soon as someone opens the site. It has a clean, elegant overall design appeal, and it is easily updated via an XML database whenever they feel like.

Description:
Marc McCollom is a Dallas architect who focuses on residential design. He is a friend, and asked us to design his website. Knowing Marc, we knew his style revolved around the theories of "less is more" and that simplicity always trumps an overkilled design. With this in mind, we designed his site to showcase no more than, and no less than, nine of his top projects. He wanted elegance, simplicity, and ease of navigation. I think we acheived all of those in the best possible way.

Description:
We decided to show this portfolio piece as an example of not only where we have come from, but as an example of over design. This is one of the first websites professional designed by one of our designers, William Yankey, while he was employed in college. This site shows a technical ability present in his work some 5 years ago, but also shows an underdeveloped sense of when to hold back on design. However, diligence is due here because significant amounts of the sites design were over done upon the clients wishes. In the end, although this may not have been the site we wanted to produce, it was in fact the exact site the client wanted. They were very happy with the results, and have given us gratitude to this day.
