Work Terms

(NOTE: Terms are negotiated on a project-to-project basis. This is a general structure)

Stage 1: Preparation
Upon acceptance of Guru.com offer, we will meet with you (phone, in person, or Internet) to discuss the project in more detail. Once our fact-finding mission is complete we will discuss and negotiate any additional costs or terms associated with the project. Upon approval, we will invoice your company for 25% of the total cost of the project.

Stage 2: Framework
Next, we create the first draft. This is the frame, or template of the site which you will receive within 4 business days*. You will have 4 business days* to review and recommend changes; of which, will be made within 2 business days*; of which, you will have 1 more day to approve the changes.** Upon approval, we will invoice you for 25% of the total job.

Stage 3: Content
Next we fill the site with the necessary content. Depending on the hours spent on the project up to this point, we will allocate time to develop any content you may be missing. Drafts, changes, and approval follow Stage 2 requirements. Upon approval, we will invoice you for 25% of the total job.

Stage 4: Implementation
Once the final design and content is approved, we will test and activate site within 2 business days (pending any client-side administrative hold ups such as DNS pointers, forwarders, and etc.) Remaining 25% of fee is invoiced.
