In that time, I've developed e-commerce solutions, corporate intranets, research databases, community resources, and full Web presences ranging in size from a few pages to a few hundred.

Drawing from six years of education leading to three academic publications, my area of expertise lies in user-centered design. I start with the needs of the site owner and their users, and use that as the foundation on which to build everything else. What to Expect

I take a unique approach that does away with expensive change orders. Modeled after best practices in Agile Software Development, the scope of the project may be changed at the start of each phase. This allows enough time to keep up with any changes, while still giving you complete control over the direction of your project.

Getting Started: Two-Week Phases

First, I will meet with you to break down and prioritize the scope. Once this is done, we can discuss what to address in the first two weeks. The next day, I provide an estimate of what you can expect to see, and I begin work on it as soon as I have your approval. These meetings are best conducted over the phone or via Skype.

During The Phase

I make a concentrated effort to keep the lines of communication open, both to ask for clarification and answer any questions that you may have. At the beginning of each phase, I will provide the office hours in which I am guaranteed to be at my desk. For anything that isn't urgent, email is the easiest way to get in touch.

Wrapping Up

At the end, I will meet with you again to demonstrate everything ready for for review. Once approved, I transfer everything to you, and an invoice is sent (Net 7). After the demo, we revisit the overall project scope and plan for the next two weeks.
