I have dedicated myself to RH Reality Check (rhrealitycheck.org), a daily reproductive health and justice publication and project of the United Nations Foundation , for 5 years playing a key role in growing the site from a small blog which measured vists in hundreds per week to an established and respected publication serving content to a quarter million unique visitors per month and cited in countless mainstream media outlets every month including The New York Times, Washington Post, NPR, MSNBC, CNN, Huffington Post.
Not only did I design and build the current incarnation of the site entirely by myself using Drupal 6 and JQuery, but I manage image and video content on the site, all social networking efforts, manage relationships with partners and vendors, oversee online advertising, search engine optimization, email campaigns and online fundraising efforts. I have learned everything one needs to know to run a successful web presence and can design and build sites with this breadth of knowledge from the ground up.
I started building websites professionally when I was 19 for the Kansas Insurance Department. The website I built for KID won numerous industry awards. I've also managed a $40k/mo online advertising budget for an Inc. 500 ecommerce website, built several small websites for local non-profits and consulted.

I strongly prefer to use SafePay Escrow for payment via Check, E-Check or Wire Transfer as this requires both parties to responsibly execute the contract.
I have found that it works well to communicate regularly twice per week with Employers by email, usually on Tuesday and Fridays, and to talk by phone or skype when deemed necessary.
I am generally available to my freelance Employers in the afternoons on weekdays.
