When you order an “Easy-to-Update Website” we carry you through a step-by-step consultation process to make sure we understand the look, feel and goals you have for your website. Once the consultation is complete, we create your account with 1&1 to host your website, and build a website template to match the style you're looking for.
Once your website template is built, we create your Home page and a Contact Us page that contains a form your customers can fill out to send you comments or questions. With the initial set-up of your site complete, we’ll submit it to search engines and create a Google Sitemap which makes it easier for Google to know what’s on your website.
After this last step the website is yours to update as little or as often as you’d like. We’ll send you a short but complete guide on how to update your website using 1&1’s incredible online website tools which comes with your hosting package. The guide explains how to create additional web pages, add links, pictures, even change your website template if you’d like.
