QuickScrews
Description:
quickscrews.com is the first major project out of college. There is a limited amount of content that is in WordPress.
The balance of the site is all our PHP, SQL CSS, HTML and JavaScript..
There are several custom CMS features for managing distributors, (the business is a screw wholesaler), and managing several other aspects of the site.
When we took the site, it was all HTML with about 2000 products. We wrote a script to load a CSV file into the database. This makes updating the products on the site easy.
Forms are artsy-crafty with database real time validation.
We fell in love with asynchonous requests, so there is plenty of this stuff. Check out the home page on the "retail" side.
Check out the custom font-image with buzz words CAPTCHA features.
User accounts, account editing and password retrieval.
HTML emails via SMTP, as the shared server was gray listed.
After the wholesale side was complete, we did the retail site.
Integration is with authorize.net.
There is plenty use of jQuery for animations and script output requests.
After this project we gravitated to working with the Drupal CMS for cost savings.

Description:
This is one of many Google Map projects. It is a AJAX driven map project that lists restaurants that buy wines from the client winery. It is built in Drupal as most recent projects are with ability to list favorite restaurants, and rate restaurants with 5-star votes and commenting. There is an accompanying page on Face book with input of your zip code that submits to the map to find local establishments.
