Website Reproduction - For when uniformity is a must.
I understand the need and desire for a uniform website layout - it has many advantages, especially professionalism. Sometimes you just want things to look a certain way. I can help with that.
I can create functional websites to look exactly like templates, images, or existing websites. For example, I worked with a couple different organizations at my college to help them with their web design needs. One organization wanted their own section on the school's website, but needed it to look and feel exactly as the main website. I was able to do that for them.
Another organization needed their site to meet certain specific specifications, so they already had a layout in the form of an image ready. I was able to build a functional website to directly resemble the image.
Troubleshooting - Browsers are all a little different, and code is very sensitive.
Sometimes you're able to obtain a desired effect, only to discover that something is wrong when you open the page in another browser. I've run into this issue time and time again, and have been quite successful in browser reconciliation and testing. I'm experienced with multiple common browsers.
Ground Up Design - Making the transition to the internet?
I've worked with various non-profit organizations to help design functional, useful websites from the ground up, tailored to meet their specific needs. I can discuss your needs with you and come up with a tailored solution.

Skills
|
| Years of Experience: |
10 year(s) |
| Highest degree: |
Master's Degree |
| Software Skills: |
While my formal education is in business and accounting, web design has long been a passion for me. I've dabbled in web design as a hobby and as a profession since I was thirteen years old.
My software skills include programming languages relevant to front-end web design, specifically layout, functionality, troubleshooting, and reproduction. I'm proficient with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
I'm currently researching and developing my skills with more back-end languages, including the use of MySQL, PHP, ASP, etc. |
| Additional Skills: |
In addition to my web design capabilities, my educational background affords me a unique specialization. Holding a BS in Accounting and a Masters in Business Administration, I'm proficient with many business applications, especially accounting related software including Quickbooks and Peachtree.
My education contributes to my freelancing capabilities by allowing me to be aware of the complex needs of business owners. I can design and code, but I also have a better understanding of what is relevant and useful to you, the information user. |

Availability - My work hours are as flexible as your hours are scheduled. I realize that you likely have deadlines to meet, and I'm committed to helping you meet them.
As a recent college graduate, I'm still quite accustomed to various working time frames, and am happy to adjust to meet your needs. I can devote as much or as little time to a project as necessary to effectively and efficiently satisfy the contract.
Communication - Again, I'm very flexible. I am available for web/telephone conferencing, as well as simple instant messaging and email. I can be available as frequently as is necessary to effectively communicate with you.
Payment Methods - However you get it to me works for me. I've got a paypal account, I can use secure pay, you can mail me a money order/personal check if you like.
Estimates - If I were in the market for purchasing the services of a freelancer, I would be concerned about them wasting time, or overcharging me for something relatively minor. Therefore, I'm committed to providing accurate estimates. If you contact me about a job I'll provide you with certain information useful to you, including but not limited to a time frame (I'll tell you when I can get that job done, if it is a contract), a price (I'll tell you up front how much I would charge to do it, and I stick to it even if it takes a bit more work than I thought it would), and an assurance that I can do it (If I am not technically capable I won't accept the job).
