Work Terms

• Payment Method:
For Flat rate projects, escrow using Guru's SafePay Escrow service is required. Payments will only be accepted using Credit Card or PayPal.

• Communication:
Unless otherwise agreed to, all communication will be undertaken utilizing the method provided by Guru.com. This helps protect by parties in the event of a dispute as a record of all communication will be available to both parties.

The frequency of communication shall be on an as needed basis. In most cases, a reply to the Employer's message shall be made within 24 hours. However, in some rare occasions, such as weekends or holidays, communication may be delayed.

• Availability:
In general, availability shall be made Monday through Friday exclusive of holidays. However, in some cases, availability may be extended to the weekends and holidays.

• Code of Ethics / Guarantee Policy:
In most cases, all work performed for the Employer is tested several times prior to implementing the changes on the Employer's live site. Such testing includes testing on a development site on my server, followed by testing the changes on the Employer's testing site and then implementing the changes on the live site.

Should faults be discovered within 30 days of live site implementation, the faults are tested against the development site on my server and the Employer's testing site. Should the fault be found to be consistent, corrections shall be made at no additional cost.
