With tight budgets and even tighter deadlines, one misguided or misdirected outsourcer can wreak havoc on a project, requiring whole segments of code to be rewritten at twice the expense. Photoshop is my graphics software of choice, and is used with great proficiency to create individual design elements and full user interface mock-ups. For coding, my prefered IDE is Adobe's Dreamweaver along with a number of useful plug-ins including SubWeaver for the version control / collaboration tool, Subversion. |

I have 5 years experience programming in PHP, and now program exclusively in PHP5 for my server-side projects. I am adept at utilizing PHP5's object-oriented implementation, and have written two MVC frameworks, and one ORM from scratch. I can convert any .PSD mock-up into cross-browser, standards-compliant (x)HTML/CSS quickly. I am highly proficient using the Prototype JavaScript Framework, and its companion library Script.aculo.us for effects, drag-and-drop functionality, etc. I have extensive experience developing for the Google Maps API as well. I always strive to adhere to the DRY (don't repeat yourself) and KISS (keep it simple, stupid) philosophy of programming and interface design while also creating something attractive and engaging. I take pride is creating functional, beautiful software for the web. |

I prefer to receive payment via SafePay Escrow in the form of a check, an e-check, or wire transfer.
Communication

Availability
