Embedded & Mobile Systems specializes in development of databases, smart wireless devices, and embedded media communications products. We work with customer to get devices and software from development into production.
Our experience includes embedded Linux, PowerTV, Windows CE, pSOS, and SwiftX operating systems using Unix/Linux, Gnu, Intel, Mentor/Microtec, National Instruments, Keil, and Microsoft development tools.
Database experience centers on cost-effective MS Access solutions using SQL. iAnywhere Advantage provides DBF file support. Database expertise features data collection from devices into the enterprise using ADO, ODBC, SQL and both wired and wireless connections. Data collection extends to data translation/export using Excel VBA and Macros, xharbour/dBase, and Shell scripts. Device level programming experience consists of successful projects using the C Language, Forth, and assembler for Xscale/Arm, MIPS, X86 microprocessors. Microcontroller work has utilized 8051, Z80, and Atmel AVR architectures.
Recently we have worked on set-top box devices suited to both the Cisco SA and Motorola MSP cable networks. We look forward to working on the development tasks for mobile media and entertainment device solutions.
