I am a smart, motivated worker and learn quickly. I coded one of the first congressional websites by hand and won an award from the Congressional Management Foundation for the Best Website on Capitol Hill in 1998. That year I also designed a franked mail program that caught the eye of the Democratic Leadership. In 2001, I began working for a fledgling internet company called Webshare Publishing. As the stock market crashed and internet companies around us folded, Webshare flourished. We tightened our belts, focused on our core clients and completely redesigned our software to change the way politics work in the field. In 2002, Webshare Publishing won the American Association of Political Consultants Best Use of New Technology award for the AFL-CIO’s Working Families Toolkit.
