Description:
I designed this 'Access Card' (which is in essence a calling card) for Complete Communication Services, a technology company which developed Internet Kiosks that were placed in gas stations, convenient stores and other high traffic locations.
The strategy behind its design was to adhere to the competition's proven package design principles while striving to stand out at crowded vendor checkout counter display walls where this access card would hang on consignment among the myriad of other calling cards belonging to competing companies.
In order to achieve these objectives, the layout design was strategically designed and meticulously scrutinized before it was approved to go to print. Every element of its package design and the placement has purpose and is intended to communicate subliminally to the potential buyer.
This access card is full color, two sided and is preforated (also known in the calling card industry as a 'rip card'). It went to print and was displayed on the rack of several convenience stores.
