My name is Chris Lane – co-founder and managing member of Digital Daydreams Studios.
Digital Daydreams is a small team of writers, graphic designers, and coders whose collective purpose is to explore the boundaries of narrative. We want to see what narrative can do when structured to exploit the potentials opened up by emerging technologies. Our vision is to create and publish a series of stories designed to innovatively utilize media like hypertext, podcasting, e-books, and video games. (We’re also already working on a series of sci-fi paperback novels, just for kicks.)
Those are our long-term goals, but in the short-term, we’ve got to pay the bills. And that’s where you come in: you should hire us, and I’m going to tell you why.
As a web-development service, our team offers you a number of advantages. First, and not to be overlooked, is the simple fact that we *are* a team. Because we work on every project as a group, we can get your work done faster than any individual working alone. Also, by working together we bring more outside talents, interests, and knowledge to your project than would be otherwise possible.
Second, we offer a comprehensive web-design service. We mean it when we say “from concept to coding to content.” We enjoy applying our creative talents to our clients’ needs, so you don’t even need to have a concept for your site in mind before approaching us. We’ll think one up for you, and we’ll make it artful and unique. (Unless, of course, you want something a little more traditional. We can do that too.) And once your site is up and running, we can even create the art and copy you’ll need to fill it out.
Lastly, we’re eager to build long-term business relations with our clients. If you have a series of projects that needs to be worked on, we’d love to see you through as far as we can. We’re easy to get along with and dependable, and once you begin working with us you’ll be saved the trouble of shuffling from one freelancing firm to the next.
